A Superb Coffee Tinged Flanker to the Original Phenomenon

* Exquisite gourmand blend of sweet, Cognac, black coffee, vanilla, amber and musk aromas
* Easily surpasses the original which in itself is also phenomenal by swapping Khamrah's cinnamon note for coffee
* Superb performance and strength
* Stunning presentation
* Unisex
* Niche fragrance for less than designer price
* Works in hot weather thanks to the black coffee note
* Has surpassed the much hyped and loved fragrance it was cloning to become its own unique much hyped and loved phenomenon

* Leans more on the masculine side for female users
* Not suitable for older users or those who dislike sweet fragrances
* Not subtle by any means
* May remind some of candy due to the praline and maple notes

Straight up, Khamrah Qahwa (which literally means coffee in Arabic), is absolutely phenomenal. It takes the same sweet, boozy Cognac, vanilla, amber and musk formula of the original and swaps out its key note of cinnamon for a much more grounded black coffee note (pun fully intended). The result is a superb flanker, both easily recognizable if you have the original but also different enough to stand out on its own and as someone who loves the original, I would argue this is way, way better. Some of the notes may come off smelling as praline candy to the nose which may turn off some. This is most definitely a gourmand fragrance, possibly the most gourmandish one I've ever had.

Performance is insanely good, with super strong projection, longevity and sillage. The presentation for the Khamrah line is stunning, easily the best Lattafa has every done, maybe only matched by the beautiful clear dome of Eternal Oud. It was designed to be displayed which you can see below and it looks great when doing so.

This is unisex but women should note that it leans quite a bit masculine, much more so than the original. This is not subtle in the least and is intended to bowl people over, so keep that in mind. It's not suitable for older more mature users (though Old Spice lovers may appreciate it) or those who dislike sweet fragrances. This makes the entire Paco Rabanne Invictus line smell like a sugar-free lollipop by comparison.

The most amazing thing about Khamrah Qahwa and the original Khamrah is that they were supposed to be clones of Killian's Angel's Share which is a much loved and hyped (and rightfully so) niche fragrance. Instead, they have become their own phenomenon unto themselves and are equally loved and hyped if not more so.

I've no doubt the high quality per dollar ratio has much to do with it. This is a superb high value QPR product which punches, far, FAR above its price point. It's a niche level fragrance for less than designer level price. If you enjoy gourmand fragrances, this is an absolute no brainer must buy. Highly recommended.

This perfume is my new favourite! The packaging is so elegant and luxurious, and the bottle is beautiful and heavy. The fragrance itself is a warm, sweet and spicy scent that leaves a scent trail and lasts all day. Definitely a compliment magnet!
